Course Description: The course aims at providing students state-of-the-art computational technologies to which many researchers consider as the next generation of the Internet. The subject will cover various aspects of the computational Grid, from the infrastructure to the high level tools and programming models to exploit the performance of the Grid. The topic also discusses latest Web technologies such as web services, web security and how these technologies have been used in building the Grid infrastructure.
