Introduction
The Department of Computer Science is one of the five departments under the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - VNU-HCM. It was established in 1993, alongside the founding of the Faculty itself. The department is responsible for delivering core courses in both the Computer Science and Computer Engineering programs. It focuses on in-depth training and research in the following areas:
- Artificial Intelligent
- Applications of Machine Learning and Deep Learning
- Image Processing and Computer Vision
- Natural Language Processing
- Foundational Mathematics for Computer Science and Applications
- Programming, Programming Languages, and Applications
