MASTER'S PROGRAM -INFORMATION SYSTEM MANAGMENT

OVERVIEW

The Master's program in Information Systems Management, with an application-oriented approach, helps students enhance their professional knowledge and career skills in the field of Information Systems Management and related areas. Upon completion of the Master's program in Information Systems Management, graduates are equipped to take on positions such as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Project Manager for Information Systems implementation, IT Director, and other leadership roles in the management and strategic deployment of information systems in organizations.

The Master's program in Information Systems Management will provide advanced modules in information system technologies as well as related management principles.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon graduating from the applied-oriented Master's program in Information Systems Management, students will acquire the following knowledge and skills: 4o mini

  1. The ability to work independently and creatively.
  2. The capability to design products, apply research results, identify and organize the execution of complex tasks in professional activities within the field of Information Systems Management. Effectively utilize knowledge of Information Systems Management to carry out specific tasks, adapting to the actual conditions in organizations, institutions, or enterprises.
  3. Possess foundational knowledge in the field and appropriate research methods to continue participation in a doctoral training program.

LEARNING DURATION

The standard duration of the program is 2 years. However, this duration may be reduced to 1.5 years for students who have completed equivalent courses in their undergraduate programs. The shortened study period will be determined by the Faculty/Department in charge of the respective specialization on a case-by-case basis.

TARGET APPLICANTS

Relevant and Suitable Fields

Candidates who have graduated from formal university programs in the field of Management Information Systems (52340405), Information Systems (52480104), or related fields with similar content are considered qualified for admission.

For candidates who have graduated from university programs not listed in the Ministry of Education and Training’s official program catalog, or those whose program name and code differ from the two fields of Information Systems and Management Information Systems, but whose curriculum content is similar to that of the Management Information Systems field, the university’s admissions council will review and make a decision.

Relevant and Suitable Fields

In addition to the fields listed under the relevant and closely related categories, candidates who have graduated from university programs in the Business and Management fields are still eligible to apply.

For candidates who have graduated from university programs not listed in the official list of higher education programs issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, or whose program names and codes differ from those listed in the above categories, the university's admissions council will review and make decisions on a case-by-case basis.

Knowledge Supplementation

The candidates who have graduated from undergraduate programs in related fields (specified in section 3.2) or other fields (specified in section 3.3) must complete supplementary courses before they are eligible to take the entrance exam. The supplementary courses are listed in the table below.
