Research Activities

The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering has been and continues to develop into an excellence hub, focusing on both fundamental research and applied research that serves specialized engineering fields while embracing opportunities for innovation in the 4.0 industrial era. This is built upon a solid foundation of well-equipped laboratories and a dedicated faculty team. The Faculty’s research groups actively participate in both national and international research programs. Many of these groups play central roles, conducting interdisciplinary research on the application of computer science and computer engineering across various sectors of society. Specifically, the Faculty has extensive collaborations and research transfers in fields such as environmental science, agriculture, transportation, healthcare, physics, and more. The Faculty has also successfully completed many research projects in collaboration with domestic and international partners and enterprises.

Every year, the Faculty actively participates in numerous conferences and workshops both domestically and internationally. Notably, the Faculty organizes international conferences and specialized workshops such as SCSE, with the participation of many scientists from both within the country and abroad, as well as industry partners. The events also see the active involvement of PhD students, postgraduate students, and undergraduates in presenting their research findings and technology transfer products.

Research Collaborators

The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering currently maintains close relationships and collaborations in research and technology transfer with numerous enterprises, academic institutions, and universities both domestically and internationally. These include companies such as Renesas, KMS, VNG, Viettel, Hella, Nvidia, Xilinx, Cadence, as well as international universities and institutes like UTS (Australia), University of Wollongong (Australia), UEC (Japan), NUS (Singapore), and others.
